When she’s not teaching or studying, you’ll find her jamming to country music, sipping coffee, or brainstorming new ways to make her classes even better.
" I teach with a focus on strength, flow, and positive energy—helping people feel empowered in their bodies. I love the creative side of designing classes that challenge you, make you sweat, and keep things fun—whether we’re flowing to some high-energy rave beats or my favourite 2005 throwback jams."
Eliza also teaches classes in Echuca and Mathoura.
Eliza teaches class on a Tuesday and Thursday at 6.30pm.
What is Pilates?
Joseph Pilates, the creator of the Pilates method (originally called Contrology), was a German-born trainer who developed this system in the early 1900s. He believed in combining strength, flexibility, and mindful movement to connect the body and mind. During WWI, he worked with injured soldiers, using bed springs as resistance—what later inspired the creation of the Reformer. In the 1920s, he moved to New York with his wife, Clara, where they opened a studio, and dancers, athletes and everyday people embraced his approach to breath, control, and core strength—long before it became mainstream.
What is the difference between mat and reformer pilates?
The main difference is using your body weight (mat pilates)for resistance or straps and springs(reformer) - both have the same focus of core strength, breath work and mental control. The difference really comes down to personal choice.
