Why choose Chiropractic?

“Chiropractic is based on the structure of the spine and its influence on the nervous system. Chiropractors adjust subluxations of the spine. A vertebral subluxation is a dysfunctional area in the spine that negatively affects health and wellbeing, due to its influence on the nervous system. One key focus of chiropractic care is to detect and correct vertebral subluxations in order to restore the healthy function of the spine and nervous system. This in turn enables the body to function at its optimal potential. “(The Reality Check by Dr. Heidi Haavik)

People will consult a chiropractor for many different reasons- from low back pain right through to bed wetting. The most common conditions we see are; spinal pain, headaches and migraines but because chiropractors will look at your whole spinal structure (not just the painful area) you can expect the unexpected!

Chiropractic is all about better health without surgery or medication, it’s about treating the body as a whole-not the sum of it’s parts however chiropractor’s will also consult with other health practitioners in the best interests of their patients.
