Allira was born and raised in Cohuna, having left for Melbourne for 4 years while studying food sciences and dietetics.

She completed her Bachelor of Food & Nutrition Sciences and Master of Dietetics at Deakin University in Burwood, totalling 4.5 years of study. Allira realised the city was not for her and so has returned to Cohuna.

Allira has two dogs who are the centre of her life and full of personality. She loves the outdoors especially with her dogs and many may know her face from working with her parents at Betta Electrical in Cohuna in previous years.

Allira is a university qualified allied health practitioner who will prescribe safe and effective diet and nutrition guidance and support. Allira can accept medicare referrals, DVA patients and private health claims on the spot.

“My passion behind my studies was to increase dietetic services in regional and rural areas, given the lack of accessibility to all allied health, which has lead me here”

Allira is available every second Tuesday.
